The Hyundai Elantra 2012 looks sporty. Credit must be given to the Korean manufacture for designing such an amazing car. Recently, Korean manufactures have been closing down the gap between Japanese manufactures.
The looks to this car is very sporty. There's definitely an attractive young feel to the car. It is a direct competitor to Honda's Civic.
The car may look nice but it does not have the strength of a Honda motor. The speed and acceleration of the car is weak but of course, that is comparing to the Honda Civic.
There is an "eco" option which is supposed to give more miles per gallon. Technically, it gives an increase of about 5 miles per gallon but the difference is minor, in terms of savings. However, enabling the eco feature reduces the power of the car, as the vehicle is noticably slower, especially acceleration.
The vehicle has an aerodynamic touch to it, and a gentle slope in the rear, almost bridging the gap between a hatchback and coupe.
The Hyundai Elantra is not bad and it is closing the gap between the Honda Civic but it is still better to go for the Honda Civic.
